Tunnel to History

Description

This was just part of a wall that was a part of lower town Harpers Ferry. It's on the ground and it's gated off, but I thought it might be nice to take a look through it and I feel it made a good picture.

Alright here we go. *cough cough, clear throat* Now, I do like the idea of the old-style, very beautiful build of the tunnel. It's rustic and very photogenic. The angle was wonderful and you got a clear shot all the way down. Overall, the image is very good, and I feel like you made a good choice for this shot.

Now, for my two sense in offering advice/criticism: The lighting gradient is a bit too sharp. I'd say, if you know how, adjust the gradient between that very blinding bright spot and the shadows inside the tunnel. It really just doesn't feel right with that large splotch of light. If you don't know how, the image is still great shot when focusing away from that area. Then might I offer that this could be a way for you to expand your skills by learning *how* to edit that piece.

Once again, overall, the image is fantastic. If I had anything that old and cool here, I wouldn't need to travel to the east coast to get good shots.
